WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT-A BIRD VIEW


The modernized era of managing the employees in growing organizations and having the cultural differences in employees working for the same goal of an organization has become challenging one.
With difference in generation gaps, millennial's as a majority in the organizations have made and given a necessity for top managements to work strategically in handling as well as developing the behavior towards the organizations.
The mix of all generations are bargaining any organizations in developing the strategies in bringing productivity, ethical practices by all, retention's of millennial, loyalty towards organization, commitment etc.
The change in the technology which is leading the present generation and has an influence on the choice criteria making the mind to be more unstable in decision making ability and the exposure to the modernized world. The career perspectives of the employees are changing and the behavior towards higher authority has become merely a need for that movement. This is due to lack of knowledge that any senior need to have to understand the behavioral change happened in the millennial and their expectations towards them in managing.
This type of generations are of high in expectation towards their career growth, look for challenging job which can give them an identity in the field, looks for more of freedom in their work and for the recognition in terms of promotions as well as rewards with compensation.
Work place surrounding has to be considered for supporting them in performing the given task and helping them in developing the positive attitude in approach towards organizations to with they are associated. This can happen by changing the organization structure i.e. making it more simple in understanding and suitable to present generation, by having the leadership approach which holds them with an ethical practice by fair treatment between the employees.
Informal communication and the organization approach towards these people can make them to be more suitable for the present requirement of the organization to survive in fast changing and globalized world.
