Creating greater opportunities for students to become teachers

·         Providing Opportunity to Make Suggestions to Teachers

Students perform better when they have the opportunity to tell their teachers what things in the classroom needs improvement. Contrary to the old belief that students are too young to know and do not posses knowledge of  education systems, now in the technological driven environment .We have to give the students the opportunity to tell to their teachers on how they can better deliver their lessons so that the students can understand

 

·         Use of Technology in Education

The Use of Technology in Education has changed the face of education and it has created more educational opportunities. Both teachers and students have benefited from various educational technologies, teachers have learned how to integrate technology in their classrooms with help of students and students are getting more interested in learning with adaption of technology. The use of technology in education has removed educational boundaries, both students and teachers can collaborate in real time using advanced educational technologies

·         Support student clubs to promote leadership and peer teaching.

Once or twice a week let each club member stay after college hours and take up the topic for discussion which is relevant for the curriculum & personality development. This could act as a proactive step in supporting students to take on more of these leadership roles

·         Build in-class opportunities for students to learn from each other.

By providing students to frame their own learning needs & rules in the classroom .It was found that the students had more chance in contributing and even revising the classroom rules and actually made the students to abide to them; it also give them the feeling that they actually have a say on what goes in the classroom. Students tend to follow the class rules now since they had a role in making the rules and regulations
